My Story

It`s Me
On 3rd of May in the year 1997 a couple was gifted by a cute little child named Bryan Pasibe. This is me telling my life story that has full of fun and drama. This is it. My story begins during my 3rd year in high school at Siena College in the town of Tigaon, Province of Camarines Sur. When I saw her there was a spark in my eyes and my heart beats so fast. I was so nervous for the reason that I felt love. And suddenly I forgot how to speak because of her extreme beauty. And her named was Jean Lee T. Saonoy.

In a short period of time we became close friends. But that day came that we are so close to each other we became more than friends. We developed as a couple that no one can even stop. We became happy and even happier when she was so sweet. I am so lucky that I met a girl that care`s for me, love`s me more than herself.  I introduced her to my parents and friends. And my parents liked her. Our relationship lasted for a year. And we celebrated our 1 year anniversary I prepared a video to surprise her.  A short video to proves my love for her.
But after I showed that video something sadly happened. Words that broke my heart. She old me that she was not anymore happy with our relationship. But after several months I finally moved on. And continue my journey. So after I graduated form my High School life. My life continues. And my parents planned to enrolled me in a University where I will pursue my dreams in life. So here I am in my College life taking up BS BIOLOGY. This is Bryan Pasibe signing off.

Environmental World

Our Recent Environment
Environment is our life. This is the main source of our everyday life. Without the environment, we people are useless. The environment around us consists of many different topics and issues. One little change in our environment is enough to determine the course of mankind. The world can only be preserved when we take action to study and save it. Studying the cycles of the world and discerning the cause and effects of our actions will allow us to help keep a healthy environment and let us live an enjoyable life.

The carbon cycle starts off in many different ways, fossil fuels, respiration, and factory emissions. Then as the cycle continues, carbon that is transmitted into the oxygen will then be taken in by plants and animals as they intake vegetables and other autotrophic organisms. Then as organisms and waste products die, they will start the process of decomposing and begin returning the carbon that they have taken during their lifetime. Without the carbon cycle, many of the worldly systems would stop functioning properly. For example problems like the increase of the greenhouse effect, global warming, ozone depletion, and acid rain would rise dramatically.

Greenhouse gases are gases that help the planet trap heat and warmth. Carbon dioxide is one of these gases. Without carbon dioxide the world would become so cold that it would start freezing. Although carbon dioxide is needed for our survival on this world, humans have burned so much fossil fuel and imputed so much more carbon dioxide that it has started being harmful to our world. The heat trapped by the greenhouse gases is slowly but gradually increasing, this is slow increase in the heat is not only affecting the temperature but also causing global warming in various places around the world.

Global warming is the increase in the normal temperature the 1990s to our current time. Global warming not only means the change in temperature but also the changes in solar radiance. Global warming causes the regular weather in different parts of the world to go haywire and temperatures to go to the...

A Polluted World

A Polluted World
We are not aware of the phenomenons that are happening in our world. Pollution is one of the main existing problems in our world today. It causes hazardous effects to us. We must prevent the pollution increase in our community. The table shows the percentage of the different pollution in the Philippines.

Pollution in Philippines

Air Pollution
63.61High
Drinking Water Pollution and Inaccessibility
46.08Moderate
Dissatisfaction with Garbage Disposal
60.75High
Dirty and Untidy
62.38High
Noise and Light Pollution
62.87High
Water Pollution
72.57High
Dissatisfaction to Spend Time in the City
64.32High
Dissatisfaction with Green and Parks in the City
59.00Moderate
There are ways that we must follow to prevent pollution in our world. Those ways are shown below.
  • Stop smoking or at least follow the “No Smoking” sign.
  • Use unleaded gasoline in your cars.
  • Keep your car properly maintained to keep it in good running condition to avoid smoke emissions.
  • Share a ride or engage in car pooling.
  • Instead of using your cars, choose to walk or ride a bicycle whenever possible. With this eco-friendly practice, you will also be healthier and happier by staying fit.
  • Never use open fires to dispose of wastes.
  • Adopt the 3Rs of solid waste management: reduce, reuse and recycle. Inorganic materials such as metals, glass and plastic; also organic materials like paper, can be reclaimed and recycled. This takes into account that the proven solution to the problem of proper waste management (especially in third world countries) is proper disposal (in waste bins for collection and not in the street where it could fall into drains), waste segregation and collection, and recycling.
  • Start composting brown leaves in your yard and green scraps from your kitchen. It will reduce waste while improving your yard and garden soils.
  • Reconnect with nature. Live green by using green power supplied abundantly and freely by wind and the sun. Hang your laundry to dry to minimize use of gas or electricity from your dryers. Enjoy fresh air from open windows to lessen the use of air conditioning system.
  • Patronize local foods and goods. In this manner, transporting goods and foods prepared with GMOs which uses fuel from conventional energy sources will be minimized.
  • Use eco-friendly or biodegradable materials instead of plastic which are made up of highly toxic substances injurious to your health.
  • Create your green space. Value your garden. Plant more trees and put indoor plants in your homes. They clean the air, provide oxygen and beautify your surrounding. Thus, care for them and by protecting them, especially the big trees around and in the forest, you protect yourself and your family, too.
  • Have a proper waste disposal system especially for toxic wastes
  • Take very good care of your pets and their wastes.
  • Never throw, run or drain or dispose into the water, air, or land any substance in solid, liquid or gaseous form that shall cause pollution.
  • Do not cause loud noises and unwanted sounds to avoid noise pollution.
  • Do not litter in public places. Anti-litter campaigns can educate the populace.
  • Industries should use fuel with lower sulphur content.
  • Industries should monitor their air emissions regularly and take measures to ensure compliance with the prescribed emission standards.
  • Industries should strictly follow applicable government regulations on pollution control.
  • Organic waste should be dumped in places far from residential areas.
  • Say a big "NO" to GMOs or genetically modified organisms. Genetically engineered crops are not only bad for the environment since they require massive amount of fungicides, pesticides, and herbicides; but GMO altered foods are also health risks and negatively impact farmers' livelihood.
